Canadian or Hopi Ear Candling (45 minutes)£22
This treatment lasts 45 minutes and includes a consultation to ensure that it is safe to have the treatment. Certain medical conditions require the permission of a GP before a treatment can be done, other conditions may require the treatment to be adapted and in some cases it may not be appropriate to proceed with the treatment. During the consultation, a detailed account is taken of your lifestyle and any medical conditions and what you wish to achieve from the treatment and a treatment plan is put into place accordingly.
The treatment begins when you lie on your side and a specialist candle is lit and inserted in your ear. The movement of the flame generates a massage like effect on the eardrum which induces a pleasant feeling of warmth. Once one ear has been done, you turn over on your other side and a specialist candle is lit and inserted in the other ear. When both ears have been done, the treatment is completed with a face massage.

Ingredients in the candles are 100% pure beeswax, honey extracts, organic linen or flax, beta carotene, Eucalyptus (powerful bactericidal, anti-viral), Echinacea (anti-viral, bactericidal, fungicidal) and Myrrh Gum (good for chest infections, colds, bronchitis, sore throats).
Aftercare Advice
In order to aid the healing process and to get the maximum benefit from the treatment, this advice should be followed for 24 hours after the treatment:
√  Keep your head out of water.
√ . Keep out of cold winds and draughts.
√  Drink lots of water or herbal tea.
√  Avoid drinks with caffeine.
√  Eat a light meal.
√  Avoid smoking and alcohol.
√  Rest and relax.
